5-levels of Learning Positive Self Talk

Writer: positiveintelligenpositiveintelligen

There are 5 levels of learning when you start the Self-Talk process:

  1. Negative Acceptance:  This is the most harmful level, where individuals tell themselves negative things like, “I can’t” or “I’m not good enough.”

  2. Recognition and Need to Change: At this level, individuals recognize the need for change but still express it negatively, such as “I need to stop being so lazy. "Decision to Change: Here, individuals make a conscious decision to change their self-talk, using phrases like “I will” or “I can.”

  3. The Better You: This level involves positive affirmations about oneself, such as “I am capable” or “I am improving.”

  4. Universal Affirmation: The highest level, where individuals use universal truths and affirmations, like “I am one with the universe” or “Everything is possible”

These levels help guide individuals from negative self-talk to a more positive and empowering internal dialogue. Do you find any of these levels particularly relevant to your own experiences?
